Making a booking for a live group event
Register and make a payment via David Cakes online booking facility
After payment is received, David Cakes will send a confirmation email and invoice for student records.
Payment options are available – Pay in full / Pay deposit / Pay balance / Instalment payment.
Pay deposit / Pay balance / Instalment payment facilities will occur additional interest charges as stated.
Students will be notified twice in advance of any due upcoming payments.
If payments are not received on the agreed payment due date David Cakes reserves the right to cancel any booking that breaches the original contractual agreement.
All payments are non-transferable.
Full payment must be made in order to guarantee a student place.
Regarding refund of payments – see ‘Refunds’ section below.
No refunds will be made for any cancellations
Transfers to a future David Cakes cake decorating training event are only available with a Doctors official medical note that is presented in English.
Requests to transfer a course with a Doctors official medical note must be made in writing and sent by post to David Cakes registered office address.
In this situation, the student would be allocated the next available slot of a future event depending on availability, as many events are fully booked up in advance.
If a student fails to attend the course which they are booked on David Cakes will be unable to refund the course fees or offer a transfer.
Minimum Age Requirement
The minimum age requirement for a student to attend a David Cakes cake decorating course is 18 years of age.
Materials and Equipment
All Materials and use of equipment are included in the booking fee.
Light beverages and snacks are included in the booking fee.
Special Requirements / Access
Every effort will be made to accommodate any special requirements you may have, so please do let us know in advance.
Should a participant require an invitation letter, David Cakes is able to provide this as long as full payment of the course fee has been received.
David Cakes is not available to act on behalf of the participant and is not responsible for any costs incurred by failure to obtain a Visa.
There is no dress code; however, most participants choose to wear comfy clothing.
You may wish to bring along an apron if desired.
Cell Phones and Electronic Devices
No cell phones or other electronic devices allowed to be used during an event.
If you need to make a phone call, please consider others and leave the teaching area or wait for your lunch break or wait for class to conclude.
No recording of David’s teaching demonstration or David’s projects may be taken with a video, mobile telephone or camera.
Taking of pictures of any teaching demonstration by David (with a camera, cell phone, or other electronic device) is not permitted during an event.
The only exception to this policy is that students can take photographs of their own project at the end of the event.
Health & Safety
Cake decorating may require the use of utensils so there may be a risk of accidents. All event participants will receive a short briefing on health and safety before commencing at the event.
David Cakes is not responsible for any injury incurred during an event.
Students must assume all risks associated with participation in the event which he/she registered for and does not hold David Cakes liable.
David Cakes reserves the right to ask any participant to leave without reimbursement of fees if their behaviour is unsafe or unreasonable in any way.
Regarding making conversation, once you have finished your project please consider others who may still be concentrating on finishing their project.
Cancellation by David Cakes
David Cakes reserves the right to change the content, timing and venue due to reasons beyond our control. In the unlikely event that an event is cancelled.
David Cakes will transfer the booking or refund the full amount and disclaim any further liability.
Intellectual Property Rights
Intellectual Property Rights in all materials and classes is expressly reserved and any unauthorised duplication, publication or distribution is prohibited.
